This contest is open to Primary & Secondary School Students from age 10 to 15 years as of Jan 2010.

The submission requires approval from the School Principal.

3.

Each team should consist of a teacher and up to 5 students, with the teacher as the facilitator for the school team.

4.

All equipment used for video making must be Panasonic products, either school owned or sponsor-use from Panasonic.

5.

Each video should consist of a synopsis (short write-up of video in no more than 80 words).

6.

The theme for KWN local contest 2010 is Environment.  All submissions should be based on the chosen theme.

7.

The video format can be in documentary. News reporting, drama or animations.

8.

Each video clip should be strictly 5 minutes in length, otherwise penalized.

9.

Submission of video works should be on DVD format and with English subtitles if the native/local languages are to be featured.

10.

Student(s) conducting the interview must wear KWN vest * in the video clip. (* to be provided upon confirmation of registration).

11.

Microphones shown in the video must have the KWN microphone cube* (* will be provided upon confirmation of registration and must be returned to Panasonic upon video submission).

12.

KWN should be spelt correctly – Kid Witness News. The correct KWN logo can be obtained from Panasonic and should be used without any distortion. Users can check with Panasonic if in doubt. Panasonic reserves the rights to request for amendments should the wrong representation be used.

13.

Entries submitted must be clear of copyright infringements.

14.

Participants must keep all production raw materials till 31 Dec 2010. (For any adjustment on video entry to regional contest).

15.

All submission and pictures related to KWN will be used as part of promoting Kid Witness News.

16.

The judges' decisions are final and no correspondence will be entertained.
